About us
Therapy for anxiety, depression, and stress from life changes
Rachel Dubrow, LCSW and Associates was founded in 2012 with a commitment to providing evidence-based counseling and therapy to adults, parents, young adults and teens. Our team of social workers and counselors have extensive and diverse experience in treating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life changes. Serving Northfield, Northbrook, Wilmette, Highland Park and all surrounding areas.
We believe in making therapy accessible to our clients by offering in-office and virtual appointments during all times of day, including weekends. We value and respect our clients’ commitment and time by offering standing weekly and bi-monthly 45-55 minute appointment times. For clients living in the state of Illinois and Florida who cannot make it in to the office, we also offer telehealth therapy sessions through Doxy.me, a free and easy to use HIPAA compliant video app.
We do our best work with clients who are interested in understanding more about themselves and strengthening their relationships with others. We also work well with clients who want to learn tangible coping skills to use outside of the office.
Many of our clients have never been to therapy before. Those that have, come see us because they want a more direct and interactive approach to therapy. Some clients choose to work on one particular issue in therapy, while others want to address their ongoing life challenges. These issues can range from managing work stress or a career change, communicating with your partner about parenting and marital issues, navigating dating and relationships, dealing with social anxieties, among others. We tailor our approach and the length of treatment to meet your needs.
If you are ready for a change, contact us at intake@racheldubrowlcsw.com to book your first appointment. We have a therapist for you and what you are going through.
"Rachel was instrumental in helping me navigate through a very difficult time. She's smart, down-to-earth, empathic, patient, and non-judgmental. She's been incredibly responsive to any and all issues I’ve brought into our sessions, and she isn’t afraid to venture outside of traditional therapy practices to help her clients."
