Owner and Clinical Therapist

Whether your young adult wants to work through anxiety or you need help with parenting and finding work/life balance, I can help.

I'm Rachel Dubrow, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in treating young adults and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and need coping skills for life's stressors. I help adults navigate parenting and find better work/life balance.

What is it like to work with me?

Clients tell me that I'm not the "tell me how you feel and lay on the couch" type of therapist. I'm engaging, interactive, and give real life examples to help clients understand what they're experiencing. I ask questions, listen intently, and have a good memory, so don't expect that I'll be taking notes on a clipboard or notebook in our sessions.

Research shows that the connection with the therapist is the first step to successful therapy. I work hard to help my clients feel validated and understood so that they can create lasting change.

Sometimes, this can take time.

We live in a fast-paced world where we want quick fixes and for things to be done yesterday. While I'm happy to sit and offer suggestions, I know that successful therapy is an ongoing process where we celebrate the shorter term successes while working through some of the tougher stuff that got you to therapy in the first place.  Time is needed to help you understand this so that you don't repeat the same patterns that got you to therapy in the first place.

If you're tired of feeling stressed out, lost, burnt out, or anxious, contact our office to discuss moving forward together.
