RACHEL DUBROW, LCSW

she/her

Owner and Clinical Therapist

Hi, I’m Rachel! I’m the owner of Rachel Dubrow, LCSW and Associates and a clinical therapist...but, you might call me an anxiety buster and work/life balance negotiator.

I help people who wish they had more time to spend doing the things they care about and are buried under mountains of work, disconnected friendships/relationships, and the challenges of life transitions.  I nudge my clients to feel empowered to make their own decisions and learn new and effective coping skills so they can live their best lives given whatever circumstances come their way.

I know from my 10+ years of being a therapist (and being in my own therapy!) that sharing your story with someone else can be daunting, scary, exhilarating, and the best vent session ever...all in one. I’d like to help you share your story at your pace, in your time, and with me by your side regardless of what we discuss.

I believe that self love fosters fulfilling relationships and experiences in life. That’s why I hope you will reach out and schedule an appointment today.

When I'm not being a therapist, I'm into...

1. All things parenthood (I have 2 kids)!

2. Seeing the world (and taking the road less traveled sometimes)

3. Dark Chocolate

4. Spending time with good friends

5. Mediterranean street food

What is it like to work with me?

Clients tell me that I'm not the "tell me how you feel and lay on the couch" type of therapist. I'm engaging, interactive, and give real life examples to help clients understand what they're experiencing. I ask questions, listen intently, and have a good memory, so don't expect that I'll be taking notes on a clipboard or notebook in our sessions. I'm licensed in Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, and Florida, which gives me a great mix of clients from all walks of life.

Research shows that the connection with the therapist is the first step to successful therapy. I work hard to help my clients feel validated and understood so that they can create lasting change.
